Denmark's RISING To Enter Studio In The Spring

February 1, 2013

Since the release of the debut album "To Solemn Ash" (Exile On Mainstream) in October 2011, Danish metallers RISING have had an active year, playing over 50 shows, including two European tours, festival appearances at Spot (Denmark),Copenhell (Denmark) and Hultsfred (Sweden) and co-headlining the Danish MTV Headbangers Ball Tour in November. In between shows, RISING has been busy writing material for its second album, to be recorded in the spring this year. More precise details on the recording and release of the second album will follow at a later date.

In May, RISING will head to Germany to play three dates for which the band will team up with their friends and fellow Danes in THE KANDIDATE. Lead by former HATESPHERE singer Jacob Bredahl, THE KANDIDATE has shown on their two albums, and on tours with ENTOMBED and TRAP THEM, among others., that they are a considerable force in heavy music with their aggressive bastard of punk and metal. As for RISING, the setlist on the upcoming German dates will premiere new songs from the forthcoming album, along with material from the band's previous releases.
